Patient Participation Group (PPG)
We are setting up a Patient Participation Group (PPG) and would love our patients to get involved!
What is a Patient Participation Group?
A PPG is a group of patients who work alongside the GP practice team to help improve services, share patient views, and support the ongoing development of the practice.
The Patient Participation Group is made up of volunteer patients and practice staff who meet to:
- Share feedback and ideas about practice services
- Discuss patient experience and priorities
- Help shape how services are developed and delivered
- Support health promotion and patient communication
The PPG does not discuss individual medical issues or personal complaints. It focuses on general services and the patient experience.
Who Can Join?
Any registered patient aged 16 or over can express an interest in joining the PPG. We aim for the group to reflect our patient population in terms of age, gender, ethnicity, and health needs.
Because spaces are limited, patients will be selected by a panel to ensure the group is representative.
What Does Being a Member Involve?
- Attending occasional meetings (in person or online)
- Sharing ideas and feedback in a respectful way
- Listening to different viewpoints
- Working constructively with practice staff
You do not need any special experience — just an interest in helping improve the practice.
Interested in Taking Part?
Please complete the questionnaire below to register your interest. Completing the form does not guarantee a place on the group, but it will help us select a balanced and representative panel.
