Pendleside Medical Practice

What is the NHS Friends and Family Test? The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) is an important tool that helps us understand the patient experience within our services. It provides an opportunity for you to share your feedback quickly and easily, allowing us to make meaningful improvements and ensure we meet the needs of everyone in our care.

What is the FFT? The FFT has recently been updated to ask a new, more comprehensive question: “Overall, how was your experience of our service?” This change ensures we capture a wider range of feedback on your visit or treatment. Patients can rate their experience and are encouraged to provide additional comments to help highlight what went well and identify any areas where we can improve.

Why Your Feedback Matters Your feedback is vital to our continuous improvement. By participating in the FFT, you contribute to shaping the quality of care we deliver. Whether your experience was positive or highlighted areas for growth, your input helps guide us in delivering the highest standards of care.

Monthly Updates on Patient Responses Transparency is key to building trust and maintaining high standards. To keep you informed, we will publish monthly summaries of FFT responses. These updates will include:

  • Overall Satisfaction: A summary of patient responses to the question about their overall experience.
  • Key Themes: Common patterns and feedback points that highlight strengths and areas needing attention.
  • Action Plans: Measures we are taking to address your feedback and enhance our service.
  • Celebrating Success: Positive feedback and stories that reflect our dedication and the quality of care provided by our team.

How to Participate If you have recently used our services, we encourage you to complete the FFT. It’s simple and can be done in various ways:

  • In-Person: Fill out a form at the practice.
  • Text or Email: You may receive a link to participate via text or email.

Stay Informed We will share our monthly FFT updates on our website and through social media. We invite you to check these updates regularly to see how your feedback is helping to drive positive changes and recognise the great work of our staff.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us provide the best possible care to every patient. Together, we can continue to enhance our services and meet your expectations.
